Cure Yourself of Excusitis, The failure disease

A wise man will be master of his mind,
A fool will be it's slave - Publilius Syrus

I recommend many of my friends and family members to read books and the feedback or replys are something like this : 'I don't have time!' 'i can't afford books' 'My English is not the best' etc.
Well these people can spend hours watching TV and scrolling through news feed but they can't afford to spend time to read at least 10 pages of a good book ; well then these people are the ones who always live a mediocre life. These people have a mental disease called Excusitis. The disease of making excuses and complaining all the time. Excusitis explaines the difference between the person who is going places places and the fellow who is barely holding his own.

Persons with mediocre accomplishments are quick to explain why they haven't , why they don't, why they can't, and why they aren't.

Study the lives of successful people and you'll discover this: All the excuses made by the mediocre fellow could be but aren't made by the successful person.

The Mental Process

Like any disease, excusitis gets worse if it isn't treated properly . A victim of this
thought disease goes through this mental process : ' I'm not doing as well as I should. What can I use as an alibi that will help me save face? Let's see: Poor health? lack of
education? too old? too young? the government? personal misfortune? the list seems infinite. Ones the victim of this failure disease had selected a "good" excuse, he sticks with it. Then he relies on the excuse to explain to himself and others why he is not going forward and each time the victim makes the excuse , the excuse becomes embedded deeper within his
subconsciousness . It becomes a
habit.

"Once You Stop Learning You Start Dying " - Albert Einstein

When you cease to learn, you cease to grow. And when you cease to grow, you cease to improve, get better, move forward and just sort of begin to - exist. but it's not the same as truly living.

Living ( I mean really living your life)
and exploring all the potential you've been
given can lead to amazing things. you can learn a new language, sport, hobby etc.

you see, the human brain is an amazing thing. We're capable of so much! But a lot of people choose to make excuses, and ultimately just stop. They stop growing and settle for status quo. All things we believe ourselves that cause us to stop
learning and settle for mere existence. A life not really lived. A brain never really used.
You have a choice now ; get busy living, or , get busy dying. It really is up to you. And part of living is freedom. Real freedom. The ability to be able to do whatever you want to do, whenever you want to do it.

Stop making excuses and start living.

Cure

It all comes down to basics
if you are short of any particular skill or resources which will allow you to create a greater impact through your work ; it can be learned. You can learn any new skill as long as you want to . You can
obtain information, advice easily through books . If you don't have time to read books, buy an audio book and listen to it during traveling.
Don't fool your mind by giving excuses; you are the earliest person to fool.

Takeaway:

Make it a habit to stop making excuses and stop complaining. I recommend everyone to take a one week challenge in which you don't
make excuses or complaint no matter what the circumstances may be. See what happens after a week!
The result is miraculous.
